Most folks just LOVE hearing ways to stretch a buck & when it comes to Worm Castings you can easily use it to make tea & then STILL use the castings afterward as they will still contain millions of the micro-herd needed for healthy soil!

I've worked out a system where with some items in some households or for about $10.00 in parts you can make smaller batches with a Quart of castings & a gallon milk jug! Will give you up to 1 1/2 gallons of tea!!

If you've just ordered your Castings from us here you've got a few days to get things together & it does take some time to 'brew' it (1 - 5 days)

Get your parts together:

The list of items needed below may not even cause you to make a run to the store! You may have them laying around the house:

    • Empty Gallon Milk jug
    • Piece of nylon knee hi or pantyhose
    • Clothes pin or some sort of clip (this is optional)
    • Small aquarium pump
    • Air pump tubing
    • Small Air Pump Stone
    • 1 - Quart Worm Castings (well aged compost will give similar results)
    • 1 Qts. de-chlorinated water
    • 2 teaspoons of "Unsulphered" Molasses
    • Small piece of string or rubber band (to tie end of hose & this is optional)
